Driver CPC – Certificate of Professional Competence

All bus drivers and lorry drivers within the European Union must now hold a valid Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC). This is not a licence; you are required to have your standard driving licence and a valid Certificate of Professional Competence carried with you at all times whilst driving.

To hold a valid Driver CPC card, you must carry out regular training. This is to ensure that commercial drivers who are driving for reward are the holders of an up to date Driver CPC card (Certificate of Professional Competence card) and are fully up to date with rules and regulations of the road, safety, and updates to various laws.

As an RSA award-winner for our contribution to Road safety in Ireland; "CPC Training organisation of the Year" (2018 to date), Safety Alliance specialise in Driver CPC training, providing you or your staff with Certificates of Professional Competence. We hold courses in multiple locations across Cork, West-Cork, Mallow & Dublin.

Training is given by a fully qualified trainer from the transport industry.

The trainer covers all Six Modules, so when you train with us you will get to know the same trainer across your five-year cycle which becomes personal rather than commercial.

We believe that CPC training should be provided by one of your own, a trainer that understands all aspects of the transport industry, a trainer that understands the everyday life of a commercial driver, this is why the RSA AWARDED US NUMBER ONE TRAINING ORGANISATION IN IRELAND.
